I have owned many boats, ranging from ribs to fly-bridge cruisers and more recently had the pleasure of skippering a Trader 575 called Kyra, for 3 years, whose blog you may have seen – Here .
Much of my boating has been on the east coast of the UK, mainly out of Woolverstone on the River Orwell. Cruises from there have included Lowestoft to the North and just about every harbour and marina to the south and west, as far as Plymouth. Over-seas trips have included Holland, Belgium, the Channel Islands and all of the French Channel and Atlantic coasts, from Dunkirk in the north, to Arcachon in the south-west. I spent the last 3 seasons in and around Brittany and La Rochelle.
The aim now is to have a boat that can accommodate a couple of guests but can easily be single crewed if necessary. I am keen to explore more of the UK and then northern Europe and the Baltic.
